Returns & Warranty

Last updated: 16 July 2026
In short: consumers can change their mind within 14 days of delivery for a full refund, every laptop carries a 12-month warranty against hardware faults, and your statutory rights under UK consumer law always apply on top.

1. Changed your mind? 14-day returns (consumers)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, if you are a consumer you may cancel your order for any reason up to 14 days after the day you receive the goods.

2. Faulty goods — your statutory rights (consumers)

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality, and fit for purpose — taking into account that they are clearly described as refurbished and graded for cosmetic condition.

3. 12-month warranty (consumer purchases)

CoveredNot covered
  • Hardware faults: motherboard, screen, keyboard, trackpad, RAM, storage, ports, Wi-Fi
  • Battery failure (not holding any workable charge)
  • Faults present at delivery
  • Accidental damage, liquid damage, drops
  • Normal battery capacity reduction over time (batteries are consumable parts)
  • Cosmetic wear consistent with the stated grade
  • Software issues, viruses, or user-installed programs
  • Devices opened or modified by third parties

Making a claim: contact us with your order details and a description (photos or a short video help). We will confirm return instructions — warranty repairs are return-to-base, and we cover return postage for confirmed faults. We aim to repair or replace within 14 days of receiving the device. Please back up your data first — repairs may require the storage drive to be wiped, and we are not responsible for data loss.

This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights and does not affect them.

4. Trade and business orders

Consumer cancellation rights and the Consumer Rights Act remedies above apply to consumers only. Trade orders carry a 14-day DOA replacement policy and a return-to-base warranty as stated on the order confirmation (90 days unless agreed otherwise). Export orders: warranty is return-to-base to our Watford facility; carriage both ways for export warranty claims is the customer's responsibility unless agreed in writing.
